What to expect:
A gentle, slow paced class with postures, sequences and breathing practices designed for pregnant women and suitable for all stages of pregnancy.
The class is suitable for beginners and women with yoga experiences.
It’s best to wear loose, comfortable clothing. Mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets are provided, or you can bring your own.
When to start:
Its generally advised to rest during the first trimester and start anytime from the 14th week of pregnancy.
It’s never too late to start pregnancy yoga and it’s fine to continue until before birth.
Paid time off work for pregnancy yoga classes
Women in full time employment are entitled to paid time off work to attend yoga classes, which are covered by the category ‘antenatal appointments and relaxation and parentcraft classes’.
